Nursing Skills Lab
A simulated hospital environment equipped with patient mannequins, hospital beds, medical equipment, and procedure trays. Students practise vital signs monitoring, wound dressing, IV cannulation, catheterisation, and other essential nursing procedures before entering real clinical settings.
Anatomy Lab
Features anatomical models, skeletal specimens, charts, and cross-sectional displays. Students study human body systems in detail, gaining the structural knowledge essential for understanding clinical conditions and performing accurate patient assessments.
Community Health Lab
Designed for training in public health nursing, health education, and community-based care. Equipped with teaching aids, demonstration materials for nutrition and hygiene education, and resources for planning community health programmes.
Computer Lab
Modern computer systems with internet connectivity for health informatics, digital learning resources, online journals, and computer-based assessments. Students gain digital literacy skills essential for modern healthcare documentation and research.
Library
A well-stocked library with nursing textbooks, reference materials, national and international nursing journals, and access to digital databases. Provides a quiet study environment with dedicated reading areas for individual and group study.
Hostel
Safe and comfortable residential facilities on campus for outstation students. The hostel provides furnished rooms, dining facilities, recreation areas, and 24-hour security. A warden ensures the welfare and discipline of resident students.
Transport
College-operated buses serve students commuting from surrounding areas and provide transport for clinical rotations at affiliated hospitals. Regular routes cover Karaikudi and nearby towns, ensuring convenient and safe travel.
Hospital Affiliations
Clinical training partnerships with affiliated hospitals provide students access to real patient care settings. Students rotate through medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric, psychiatric, and community health departments under faculty supervision.
