Our faculty is organised into six specialised departments, each staffed by qualified nursing educators with clinical and academic expertise.
Medical-Surgical Nursing
Covers care of adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Faculty specialise in perioperative, critical care, oncology, and orthopaedic nursing. Students gain hands-on experience in medical and surgical wards.
Paediatric Nursing
Focused on the health and development of infants, children, and adolescents. Covers neonatal care, growth and development, childhood illnesses, immunisation, and family-centred care approaches.
Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing
Training in maternal and reproductive health, including antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care. Students learn midwifery skills, newborn care, and management of gynaecological conditions.
Community Health Nursing
Emphasises public health, preventive care, and health promotion in community settings. Students participate in rural and urban health postings, school health programmes, and epidemiological studies.
Psychiatric / Mental Health Nursing
Covers assessment and care of patients with mental health disorders. Faculty teach therapeutic communication, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation of psychiatric patients.
Nursing Foundation
Introduces students to the fundamentals of nursing science, professional ethics, communication skills, anatomy, physiology, and basic clinical procedures. Forms the bedrock of all nursing education.
